  • Workshop: Accessible Instructional Materials:  An important component of designing and building a course is ensuring that instructional materials are accessible to students with disabilities. These workshops will demonstrate several things instructors can do to ensure the accessibility of their course materials. The following Fridays from 11AM-12PM May 29, August 28, October 30, January 29, and March 26

Chancellor’s Office Teaching and Learning Resources

Cal State Tech AI in July! AI in July is free for CSU employees and includes a series of online sessions developed to share knowledge, insights and innovations among the Cal State Tech community! Tune in each week for different AI inspired sessions including keynotes, panels, campus showcases, and technical deep dives. Our Zoom Events platform allows you to watch live sessions, or if you miss a session, you can watch the recorded event on-demand. ​

 

The CSU Chancellor’s Office offers courses and resources about Generative AI on their  website. Additional courses about how to enhance your courses (Teaching with QTL Rubric and AI Tools for Teaching) are also available throughout the summer. Information about course descriptions, dates, and registration can be found on the 

 

 

 

Mission: The Office of Faculty Development & Center for Excellence in Teaching supports faculty in their roles as teachers, scholars, and members of the university and community. We provide opportunities and space for faculty to collaborate on projects that improve teaching and student learning. We strive to enhance collegiality among faculty as we all expand our intellectual, pedagogical, and scholarly horizons. Our services are available to full and part-time CSU East Bay faculty at all stages of their academic careers.
