The Next Step: CSU Graduate Career Readiness is a free, self-paced micro-credential program available to CSU graduate students. Grounded in the NACE Career Readiness Competencies, the program helps students reflect on their academic and professional experiences and translate them into skills that employers actively look for.
Through guided reflection, practical examples, and applied activities, students learn how to recognize the value of their academic work and communicate it effectively in professional settings. The program is designed to bridge the gap between graduate education and workplace expectations.
Students can complete modules at their own pace and earn eight LinkedIn-shareable competency badges. Completing all eight badges stacks into the full CSU Graduate Career Readiness micro-credential.
