Make a commitment to the Sankofa Scholars program during your time at CSUEB
Program Requirements
You must commit to the Sankofa Scholars Program for the first academic year you are enrolled at 51ÁÔÆæ.
Participate in program-related activities/ Two events per semester
Meet with a Sankofa counselor at least two (2) times per semester
Regularly meet with a Sankofa peer mentor
Remain in full-time enrollment status(12 units)and good academic standing with the university.

Important Dates
December 1
Sankofa Scholars Application Opens – Space is limited; applicants are encouraged to apply early
March 2
Sankofa Scholars Application Priority Deadline –Notifications of acceptance to the Sankofa program will be sent by April 1 for priority applicants, contingent upon 51ÁÔÆæ Fall admission.
After March 2nd
Documents received after the priority deadline will still be accepted on a space-available basis. Notifications of acceptance to the Sankofa program for non-priority applicants will be sent by mid-June, contingent upon 51ÁÔÆæ Fall admission
