Summer Support is available through NetTutor

Through the SCAA currently-enrolled students have access to free 24/7 online tutoring and coaching support through NetTutor. Our peer-to-peer support programs resume August 24, 2026.

  • Schedule 1:1 coaching appointments with a SCAA Peer Academic Coach through the SCAA's Nimbus Learning scheduling app: download the or visit the . You can also access support by selecting "Tutoring & Coaching (SCAA)" from your courses in Canvas.

    During the Fall and Spring semesters, Peer Academic Coaches are available for appointments throughout the week during the following timeframes:

    • Mondays - Thursdays: 10am-7pm (5-7pm online appointments only)
    • Fridays: 12pm-4pm


    Same-day appointments are an option.

  • We support an array of courses across the curriculum with peer tutoring.

    Schedule a 1:1 appointment with a SCAA Subject Tutor through the SCAA's Nimbus Learning scheduling app: download the or visit the . You can also access support by selecting "Tutoring & Coaching (SCAA)" from your courses in Canvas.

    During the Fall and Spring semesters, SCAA Subject Tutors are available for appointments throughout the week during the following timeframes:

  • We support students with speeches, presentations, and communication-related assignments.

    During the Fall and Spring semesters, Speech Lab Tutors are available for appointments throughout the week during the following timeframes:

    • Fridays: 12pm-4pm

  • Register for upcoming group study sessions with a SCAA SI Leader through the SCAA's Nimbus Learning scheduling app: download the or visit the . We support an array of courses across the curriculum:

    • Accounting (ACCT 210, 215, 311, 312)
    • Biological Sciences (BIOL 271, 310)
    • Chemistry (CHEM 111, 112, 331)
    • Computer Science (CS 101)
    • Speech, Language & Hearing Sciences (SLHS 301)
  • Please contact us at SCAA@csueastbay.edu with a description of the support you are looking for. We also encourage you to stop by the SCAA (CORE Building, Room 343) and speak to a Front Desk Team Member in-person. The Front Desk Team is staffed Monday through Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm.
